Cablevision has recently updated the logos of the channels on the television, but the PPV's are still the same, with killer titles.
Invasian #4 - I know this isn't about aliens coming down in spaceships, but is probably about Asian women doing something ...
Boobs, Butts, and Beyond - Although we do need to go to BB&B, it isn't for these two items - we need pacifiers for Nolan.

Awesome-ness
-- Buffalo Bills WR Steve Johnson - the guy who dropped the pass against the Steelers when he was wide open and said he'd never forget the drop - celebrated his birthday party with a classic cake - of his wife's ass. Cl-ASS-y cake Steve:
-- Evan Longoria is going for the GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL! Alex Morgan and he have been tweeting - and it may lead to something more than that. Two good looking people, nationally recognized (after this WWC thing), both athletes - why not:

Wacky Photos
In case you were wondering, I am alive. The head coach here has taken the job over at Fordham, so my future is in limbo. I will interview here - eventually - making a bid to become the next head coach at my alma mater. If it doesn't go that way (meaning I am not named head coach) we'll have some decisions to make. I believe I am the best fit for the position - I know the team, I know how to win, I know the school, and I take pride in the success we've had - it's my alma mater afterall. It's always nice having the opportunity to be at the helm of a program you've invested so much time and effort in. Stay tuned for my future.
Anyhow, to distract me from the uneasiness and anxiousness that is my situation, I will defer to a picture post. Everyone loves pictures, after all, it captures the eye and makes you want to read - at least a little.
1. J-Wow(w?) now on the newsstand and not just the idiot box. Her recent spread in Maxim really shows off her fake-ness, but seeing how she became famous for wearing next to nothing, why not get a boob-job and keep showing off the additions:
2. This guy has a future of 0 and I'm betting will never get a job. He's probably destined to be a jailbird for the rest of eternity:
3. I'm drawing a blank. A lot going on. Be back when the future is clear.

Hello, Berman!
All-Star Game
It used to be a game I watched intently and for longer than the starting lineups. Tonight, I just can care less about watching it. I took in a bit of the HR Derby last night - and that was fun - besides Chris Berman shouting at everyone throughout the broadcast. I used to enjoy listening to him and his quirky nicknames for players, but it's gotten extremely hard listening to him.
The game itself is an exhibition of the "best" players in the league and determines home-field advantage in the World Series. There's people playing this game that know already they have no chance at making the postseason, let alone the World Series - do they care? I think they do. It's a matter of league pride - American League players want their AL counterparts to win the whole thing. That's my train of though anyway.
But back to Berman - why does he find it necessary to scream into the microphone? Does he not understand that it is on?
Anyway, I have been feeling very unmotivated to write lately but bear with me. I assure you I will bounce back and rev it right back up - just give me some time.
Til next time.

Weird-ities
There's things that have dawned on me as weird, but are things I do everyday. Here goes a list of five
1. Putting milk in coffee. Would you ever think to put milk in a glass of water? All coffee is is flavored water.
2. People saying Derek Jeter is overrated. He's one of the best SS to ever play the game of baseball and regardless of his decline in production at the age of 36, 37, he's still one of the best the game has ever seen. Period.
3. No PB Pie? Seriously, TGIFriday's no longer serves their signature Peanut Butter Pie, a total sham and disservice to all people looking to patronize the restaurant. We go once in a blue moon because Lindsay is craving said PB Pie. Now there is NO reason to go.
4. There's no crying in... yawning? Why the hell am in beginning to tear up when I yawn? It makes me look like I'm an emotional wreck - crying because I am yawning? Not to mention "yawn" is a pretty funny word.
5. You asked for it. I stare and get angry when people dress inappropriately. I'm sorry and I mean no disrespect, but if you're a person who's stomach hangs over your belt, you should avoid showing your mid-section. No skin except for your arms, hands, feet, head, and neck. Seriously. It's pissing me off.
Goodnight. Iced coffee then bed. Another weird-ity.

What the ...?!?
With our impending trip to the American Museum of Natural History tomorrow, I had a few things I wanted to look up before we headed down to NYC. It has been probably close to 15 years since I've been to a museum, so I am pretty excited. Here's what I wanted/needed to know:
1) I wanted to know about photography. I am alright on that one, because all I'll bring Linds' Sony handheld. One for one.
2) I wanted to know the policy on strollers, since Nolan can't walk at two-and-a-half months (I know, what the hell?!?). So I Google'd "are strollers allowed at the AMNH?" and came across the answer - Yes. However, the irony is in the museums where strollers are not allowed:

Museums Where Strollers Are Not Allowed:
Really? The Children's Museum of Manhattan prohibits strollers? Maybe it's me, but that's pretty much the definition of irony, wouldn't you say?
Headed to bed, in the air conditioning. The storm that blew by cooled things off a little but it's still unbearable and there is never a breeze here on the 10th floor.
Goodnight and travel well. Off to see the dinosaurs tomorrow! (photos to follow)

Not Guilty?!?!
Casey Anthony is not guilty of anything except lying to police? Is this not the biggest fucking travesty since OJ Simpson?
Lindsay began watching this case while being the stay-at-home mom and got me hooked a few weeks ago, and literally, it was always on in the apartment. We were intrigued and captivated by it all. And the last thing we expected was a "not guilty" verdict on decision day. The worst part was we were driving in the car back from MV today when the decision was made not being able to watch - luckily I found an AM station live from the courthouse so we could listen live to the verdict. I swear, it was like being a sports fan and cheering for your favorite team. I was a fan of Team Ashton (the prosecutor for the state of Florida), who I thought was hitting homeruns all case long. He is said to be retiring following this ridiculous outcome. I would too - he's had a great career and to be a part of this abortion of a verdict would make me rethink my decision to continue as well.
And to make matters worse, they said her attorney, Jose Baez (now the #1 lawyer in America), was out celebrating at a bar. Give me a break!
I'm entitled to my opinions, and as you all know will voice them in their entirety, and I truly think the justice system is flawed in this country. We poll from the middle class only it seems, but we should reach out to the rich and the poor for jury duty.
Another thing - these jurors were sequestered the entire case - no contact with the outside world - phone calls, television, telephone, internet - NOTHING! Do you not think they wanted to get the fuck outta there and come to a conclusion? I wouldn't be surprised if there were two or three jurors who thought she was guilty but figured what's the point, we're not going to change 9 or 10 other minds. And I really believe that. It's a God damn shame that this woman got away with murder.
The bottom line is, in Florida, you can kill someone, skirt the truth and make up cockamamie stories for a few weeks, lie to a cop, lie to your family, wait for things to decompose and become untraceable, lie to more cops, and eventually you'll be acquitted of murder.
I hate to admit it, but I am pissed off over this bullshit verdict. Voice your opinions, please, if you've been watching this thing.
Goodnight.

WTF!: Martha's Vineyard Edition
What do people really think about themselves? How far will they go as far as wearing a bikini? Showing PDA? Well, you'd be hard-pressed to find people here on the Vineyard who are too tough on themselves. I am all for self-confidence, but I'll let you be the judge of whether this shit is confidence or stupidity.
I'll slowly get into the absurdity that was here at the beach today. Read the description then enjoy the photo.
There's me on the left jumping off the Jaws bridge:

Here's momma holding the little man during his first trip to the beach:

Me and Nolan at the beach:

Here's a tub of shit who decided to trek through the roped off area to get a prime spot at the beach at 3:15pm - the roped area was for local birds and their nests. It makes me sick, then, to boot (and I almost did), her 3-year-old son wore his underwear into the water and definitely had shit in there. People are repulsive. Note the denim booty shorts - apparently she has no mirrors at her place:

Here's a strong woman with no shame, stuffing something in her pie hole. Shit, it might have been a fish she caught in the ocean:

Here's some PDA in full effect - this guy is tied in to the next picture. He's a mentor (you'll see). I think I might have gotten busted taking this one by the girl crammed in her shorts:

Here's the protegé, working on his abs in the water. What a total douche bag this guy is. I actually thought to myself, aloud, "I can't believe this guy is actually working out on a beach in front of other people" - goes to show you people have no shame:

Here's the rest of the Fat Pack that was encroaching on the bird nesting area - I am not sure if that's her bikini or if someone in a bikini got lost inside her fat, cottage cheese ass. You can see the primary T.O.S. pointing as well as her kid (I think it's hers) in the underwear. She's probably telling the kid to get her fat ass some food. Clean it up, lady.

I almost just threw up rending myself of these people. This post has nothing really to do with self-confidence but rather a cry for help to those in need - have a little common decency. If not for yourself, for the rest of the people you'll encounter. It's really disturbing sometimes the shit people think actually look good.
I am no slim Jim, but I don't go walking around in a Speedo. I mind my own business and try to fly under the radar. These slobs might as well have neon signs over their heads, if they can lift their arms up that high (I know the guy doing abs can).
Hoping to enjoy the rest of my evening half as much as I enjoyed scoping out these mo-mo's.
Sit back, relax, and crack open an ice cold beer!
